Moosung Lee

Analyst and Advisor at SIGA

Moosung Lee earned his PhD in International Studies and an MA in International Economic Management from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. He also holds an MA in North American Studies from the Graduate School of International and Area Studies (GSIAS) and a Bachelor’s degree in French, both from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.

His professional expertise spans academia and high-level policy advisory. He currently serves as a Professor in the Department of Political Science and Diplomacy at Myongji University. His extensive experience includes serving as a Policy Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea and as a Visiting Scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the United States.

Dr. Lee is deeply involved in the academic community, currently holding a leadership role with the Korean Association of Contemporary European Studies (KACES) as of 2022. Through his diverse roles in the UK, USA, and South Korea, he has developed a robust specialization in international diplomacy and global economic management.

Moosung Lee is currently an Analyst and Advisor at the Seoul Institute of Global Affairs (SIGA).
