Mission

The mission of the Seoul Institute of Global Affairs (SIGA) is to produce high-quality, policy-relevant research on international political and strategic issues. SIGA seeks to bridge academic knowledge and practical policy debates by providing analytically sound, regionally informed perspectives on global affairs.

The Institute is committed to intellectual independence, methodological rigor, and open dialogue in all its research and public activities.

Vission

SIGA envisions becoming a trusted platform for the analysis of global and regional affairs, with particular attention to Eurasia, East Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and the Americas.

Through interdisciplinary research and international collaboration, SIGA aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of global challenges and to support constructive engagement in international policy discussions.
